‘Oak Tree’ is a quality built, modern and spacious home – double glazed for warmth in winter. It is overlooking a large reserve and capturing all day sun. The mountain views are spectacular from all rooms.

On arrival you will be greeted with a ‘cuppa and homemade cookies’. You are welcome to relax in our lounge, or in the TV room in front of the log fire in winter.

A delicious continental breakfast is served in the dining area at a time of your choice – while watching the morning light over the beautiful Southern Alps and Avalanche Glacier.

Oak Tree Bed and Breakfast is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, only a 2 minute drive or an easy walk to the Wanaka town centre, where you will find a large range of restaurants and cafes, bars, shops and the famous Cinema Paradiso.

Your friendly hosts are Sharlene & Ray, whose family are now grown. They enjoy sharing their special part of paradise with others, and are happy to help with local activities, and with ongoing travel if required.

Sharlene works from home and enjoys painting and gardening. Ray works for the ‘Alpine Fighter Collection’ a flying collection of WW11 Fighter Aircraft, and the renowned ‘Warbirds over Wanaka’ International Airshow. In his spare time he loves taking to the hills around Wanaka on his motorbike. Both enjoy travelling locally and internationally.
